Amy Celep was named
President and CEO of Community Wealth Ventures
in April 2010. She leads a talented team
committed to providing innovative solutions to
growth and sustainability in the social sector.
She also is a frequent presenter at conferences
on topics related to nonprofit sustainability
and philanthropy.

| Since joining CWV in 2002, Amy has personally worked with both nonprofit and foundation clients. She has designed and implemented a multi-year international initiative for Alcoa Foundation; advised management teams on the development of social enterprises as part of the firm’s group consulting and training initiatives in Baltimore and Cleveland; and formulated a corporate partnership strategy for the National Association of Children’s Hospitals and Related Institutions, which resulted in a multi-year relationship with the Dorel Juvenile Group. |

| Amy joined CWV after serving as a resource development professional for an international development nonprofit where she secured corporate and foundation gifts. She also worked as a television news producer for a CBS affiliate, where she designed and launched a new morning program and served as the producer for the station’s award-winning evening news.
In 2011, Amy was honored as one of The
Washington Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, which
recognizes the region's brightest young business
leaders based on demonstrated business success over
the past 12 to 18 months. Amy also was selected to
participate in the Leadership Greater Washington
Class of 2012. |
